What we’re looking for:

• Certified Special Education Teacher, eligible for assignment in Wisconsin
• Experience with high school-aged learners and cross-categorical service provision
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments tailored to individual student needs
• Adept at developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a flexible, student-centered approach

Responsibilities in this role:

• Delivering specialized instruction and supports to students on cross-categorical caseloads
• Developing and executing lesson plans adapted for varied learning abilities and styles
• Collaborating with general education staff, administrators, and families to ensure student success
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate, timely documentation of educational goals and objectives
• Participating in IEP meetings and making recommendations based on current assessments and observations
• Providing a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment that promotes growth and confidence
