Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential, with school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy strategies for young children, particularly those in preschool
  • Proficiency in fine and gross motor skill development, along with hands-on therapy techniques
  • Experience with OT in school settings, healthcare, or home health environments highly valued
  • Collaborative mindset, excelling in communication with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to work with evolving caseload needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services and interventions to preschool students, focusing on both fine and gross motor skill development
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing goal-setting input and progress updates to the educational team
  • Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school district guidelines
