Job Description
Step into an exciting opportunity as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year! This full-time, on-site position offers the chance to collaborate with educators, students, and families in a supportive school setting. Work a consistent 37.5-hour week, making meaningful contributions to student success and well-being. There may also be potential for hybrid accommodations, depending on district approval.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active Illinois School Psychologist certification (Professional Educator License - PEL)
- Demonstrated expertise in school psychology, including assessments, counseling, and interventions
- Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective student support plans
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students, both individually and in groups
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Support social-emotional learning and behavioral initiatives within the school community
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all ethical and legal guidelines
- Caseload details will be determined in alignment with school needs
