Job Description
Make a difference in the lives of students and gain valuable experience as a Special Education Teacher in a vibrant community near Denver, CO. This contract position runs from August 19, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering full-time hours (37.5 per week) in a supportive environment. Multiple openings are available for passionate educators dedicated to making an impact.
Three positions are currently open across diverse settings:
- High School Significant Support Needs (SSN) Center
- Elementary SSN Center
- Elementary Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Center
Applicants must hold a current SPED Generalist license to be considered.
What we’re looking for:
- Valid SPED Generalist license for Colorado
- Experience working with students in SSN, ASD, or similar special education environments
- Commitment to individualized student support and inclusive classroom strategies
- Comfort adapting to different grade levels and needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to foster a positive, engaging learning environment
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Designing differentiated instruction to enhance learning outcomes
- Collaborating with classroom teachers, families, and support staff to drive student success
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional methods as required
- Supporting an inclusive, respectful, and engaging classroom community
