School Psychologist in Chesapeake, VA

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Experience with psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies in a school setting
• Strong communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
• Knowledge of special education processes and laws
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Professionalism, integrity, and a collaborative spirit

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Provide direct counseling services to individuals and groups
