Step into a dynamic educational setting for the 2025/2026 school year serving elementary and secondary students! A contract opportunity exists for a credentialed School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services in a collaborative school environment. The position runs from August 25th, 2025 through June 11th, 2026, with core hours of 8:30am – 3:30pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid CT 070 School Psychologist License required
• Experience in school-based assessments, psychological evaluations, and counseling
• Strong skills in conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and creating comprehensive reports
• Demonstrated ability to support students in both elementary and secondary school settings
• Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities, especially within multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with PPT (Planning and Placement Team) processes preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations for students referred for support
• Prepare and deliver clear, effective psychological reports
• Provide individual and group counseling to students with diverse learning, social, and emotional needs
• Participate in and contribute to PPT meetings, collaborating closely with teachers, families, and school staff
• Offer direct, solution-focused support to students and provide consultative services to the education team
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment that supports students’ overall wellbeing
