Job Summary
A respected Orlando law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy defense litigation practice. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a legal support professional who understands the litigation process, enjoys working in a structured law firm environment, and is looking for long-term career stability.

Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys through all phases of defense litigation, including case organization, document preparation, scheduling, and deadline tracking.
- Open new matters, process conflict checks, maintain physical and electronic files, and close files according to firm procedures.
- Prepare, proofread, edit, and format legal documents from drafts, dictation, or handwritten notes.
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, depositions, conference rooms, and litigation-related deadlines.
- Assist with billing tasks, including entering attorney time, editing pre-bills, monitoring billing deadlines, and distributing invoices.
- Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and internal team members.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $55,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience.
- Direct hire, full-time position.
