Step into a rewarding opportunity shaping the lives of students as a Special Education Teacher specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder. For the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year, three dedicated professionals are needed to deliver exceptional support and instruction in an onsite-only capacity, working full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday). Incumbents will play a key role in the development and implementation of IEPs, working collaboratively with general education staff to foster inclusive learning environments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active Georgia Special Education Licensure/Certification (must provide verification upon application)
  • Prior experience in a school-based special education setting is highly valued
  • Demonstrated expertise in classroom management and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to deliver tailored instruction and support to students with varying needs
  • Full-time availability throughout the 2026/2027 school year

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, positive instructional support to students with ASD as outlined in IEPs
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues, support staff, and administration to drive student success
  • Track and document student progress, maintaining thorough and accurate records
  • Engage in ongoing communication with families and stakeholders regarding student needs and progress
  • Uphold best practices in special education instruction and compliance
