Special Education Teacher (Middle or High School) – Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year

We're partnering with a welcoming school district to hire Special Education Teachers for both Middle School (Grades 6–8) and High School (Grades 9–12) for the 2026–2027 school year. Position Details

• Position: Special Education Teacher
• Schedule: Full-Time
• Optional Staff Orientation/Professional Development: August 17–18, 2026 (highly recommended)
• Assignment Dates: August 19, 2026 – June 7, 2027
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Available Openings

• Middle School: Grades 6–8
• High School: Grades 9–12

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students receiving special education services.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student achievement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
• Foster an engaging, inclusive learning environment that supports students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Special Education teaching license preferred
• Candidates actively working toward obtaining a Special Education license are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.78 to $48.78. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
