Job Description
Harter’s Lakeside Disposal is currently looking for a responsible 2nd shift Diesel Technician. The individual will be responsible for assisting and performing all repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy duty trucks. Harter's is a family owned, growing company. We are constantly adding new trucks to our fleet and we are consistently growing. We offer full benefits and pay is based on experience. We are looking for somebody that wants to be a part of a small operation and grow with it. The perfect individual will consider our trucks their own and treat them accordingly. Typical duties include:\n

\nPerform routine maintenance on equipment\n
\n
\nAnalyze and diagnose mechanical issues\n
\n
\nCreate a plan of action for all repairs\n
\n
\nFollow checklists and protocols while conducting repairs\n
\n
\nEnsure a safe, organized, and tidy workspace\n
\n
\nInput, track, and maintain all maintenance data and records\n
\n
\nKeep machinery is in good working condition\n
\n
\nTrack inventory and order new parts when required\n
\n
\nSupport coworkers and be a good team player\n
\n
\nFollow all health and common sense safety practices\n
\n
