Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by supporting the diverse needs of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This full-time, on-site contract role involves working 37.5 hours each week, Monday through Friday, supporting both elementary and middle school students. Your background in special education, together with your commitment to fostering inclusive environments, will be instrumental in delivering individualized instruction, implementing IEPs, and encouraging growth for students within your caseload.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current Georgia SPED licensure or certification (verification required at submission)
- Previous experience in school-based special education settings preferred
- Expertise in classroom management and behavior support strategies
- Confidence collaborating with general education staff and families
- Availability for full-time, on-site work for the duration of the 2026/2027 school year
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized instruction plans in alignment with student IEPs
- Foster a supportive and structured classroom environment
- Provide direct instruction, behavioral interventions, and ongoing assessment for student growth
