Desired Qualifications:

  • Active state license or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and developing intervention plans
  • Strong knowledge of special education processes and legal requirements
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Capable of managing a dynamic caseload across various school locations
  • Proficient in providing direct and consultative services to students and staff
  • Compassionate, student-centered approach with problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students’ learning, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Conduct evaluations and interpret assessment data for special education eligibility
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
  • Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services when required
  • Consult with educators, parents, and administrators to support positive learning environments
  • Support schools with Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
  • Maintain thorough records according to state and district guidelines
