Desired Qualifications:
- Active state license or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and developing intervention plans
- Strong knowledge of special education processes and legal requirements
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Capable of managing a dynamic caseload across various school locations
- Proficient in providing direct and consultative services to students and staff
- Compassionate, student-centered approach with problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ learning, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Conduct evaluations and interpret assessment data for special education eligibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services when required
- Consult with educators, parents, and administrators to support positive learning environments
- Support schools with Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Maintain thorough records according to state and district guidelines
