Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current, active OT license in California
  • Previous experience in schools or pediatrics highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ functional abilities within the school environment
  • Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to enhance students’ performance and independence
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure cohesive support
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies
  • Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings as needed
  • Provide training and resources to school staff regarding student accommodations and assistive strategies
