- Number of Beds - 24
- Number of Staff 45
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift 4 Day RN's/ 1 Charge/ 2 mid-shift RN's/ 1 mid shift Unit Clerk/ 1 EMT
- Night Shift 4 Night RN/ 1 night EMT/ 1 night charge
- Patient Ratios 4:1 (5:1 during surge)
- Type of equipment Client monitors
- EMR - Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH and ENPC
- At least 1-year of current hospital acute care ED experience
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- CEN
- CPEN/ US IV competency
- Pediatric Emergency Department experience for pediatric ED
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- Port access/ IV start/ Venipuncture/ nasal wash/ point of care testing (trop/ lactic acid/ urine dip)/ EKG/ Foley placement

- Easy to communicate with but willing to go above and beyond
