Special Education Teacher in Ripon, CA

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid credentials as a Special Education Teacher
• Previous classroom experience working with students in Resource or Moderate/Severe (Autism) settings preferred
• Strong ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual needs
• Exceptional communication skills with staff, students, and families
• Collaborative mindset and flexibility in changing educational environments
• Experience with IEP development, implementation, and progress tracking

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction tailored to a range of student capabilities
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
• Create and adapt lesson plans to meet cognitive, behavioral, and emotional requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to meet IEP goals
• Assess student progress and document outcomes in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Encourage social, academic, and behavioral growth in students with a variety of learning needs
