On-Call OB/GYN Hospitalist - 7 On/7 Off Schedule in Sterling, IL

OB HOSPITALIST OPPORTUNITY

Our organization is a 99-bed, independent community hospital located in Sterling, IL, operating under an employed physician model. We currently have a team of approximately 77 physicians and 75 advanced practice providers across 35 medical specialties. In addition to our main hospital and clinic, we also provide services through 14 satellite facilities in the surrounding area.

• Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) candidates are encouraged to apply.
• On-call duties only; no requirement to remain in-house overnight.
• Work schedule consists of 7 consecutive days on followed by 7 days off.
• Enjoy 2 weeks of vacation and 1 week dedicated to Continuing Medical Education (CME), totaling 23 weeks or 161 shifts annually.
• On-call hours are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, and from noon on Friday to 7:00 AM on Monday.
• Expected to perform all standard duties associated with an Ob/Gyn hospitalist role.
• Approximately 550 births are managed each year.
• Facility includes a Level 2 nursery.
• When fully staffed, the team will consist of two on-call Ob/Gyn hospitalists, three clinic-based Ob/Gyn physicians, and three women’s health advanced practice providers/certified nurse midwives.
