Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching licensure/certification
- Demonstrated expertise in IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Strong understanding of federal and state special education guidelines
- Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience liaising effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to facilitate and lead IEP/ESR meetings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of IEP and special education documentation compliance
- Serve as a resource and guide for teachers, staff, and families regarding special education processes
- Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate IEP/ESR meetings, ensuring clarity and collaboration
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely submission of required documents
- Stay current on special education laws and best practices, providing training or guidance as needed to staff
- Build strong partnerships with families and school teams to support student success
- Work closely with administrators to develop and refine special education services and programming
