Job Description
Step into an essential role supporting students as a full-time Education Specialist. This contract position begins August 3rd and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference at a school site near Llano, CA. As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll work closely with students, families, and fellow educators during standard school hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM. You’ll empower learners to reach their greatest potential in an inclusive, supportive environment. Classroom-specific information will be provided as details become available.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Credentialing or certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience working in a school-based special education setting
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Dedication to fostering a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom
- Ability to work onsite with consistent attendance
Your responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialized instruction tailored to diverse student needs
- Developing, monitoring, and updating Individualized Education Programs
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support each student’s academic and behavioral success
- Providing direct and small-group instruction within the classroom
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to all required documentation
- Supporting parents, guardians, and caregivers as partners in student growth
