Job Description
Make an impact in students’ lives by providing psychological support across multiple school sites for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, in-person opportunity starts in August 2026 and extends through June 2027, serving a diverse K-12 caseload within the district. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and teams to foster positive learning environments and support student well-being.
What you need to succeed:
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience in school-based settings working with K-12 populations
- Solid understanding of special education processes, IEPs, and standardized assessments
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work on-site and travel between school buildings as needed
- Commitment to full-time availability, 32–37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday
- Dedication to maintaining confidentiality and ethical practices
In this districtwide role, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting psychological and educational evaluations for students referred to special services
- Collaborating with teachers, special education teams, and families to develop intervention and behavioral plans
- Consulting on academic, social, and emotional concerns impacting student learning
- Participating in IEP meetings and writing relevant reports and documentation
- Promoting positive mental health and providing crisis intervention when necessary
- Supporting a wide range of ages and needs throughout multiple school sites
