Responsibilities

Elevate your nursing career as an Assistant Director of Nursing, where you will assist the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient and effective nursing care, ensuring positive clinical outcomes, and enhancing patient, family, and employee satisfaction.

  • Act as a clinical operational liaison between nursing units and the Director of Nursing.
  • Oversee the quality of clinical operations within nursing units, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, practice standards, and regulations.
  • Work alongside the Director of Nursing to develop, manage, and control the nursing department's budget.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and mentor staff to practice at the top of their licenses.
  • Assist with nurse staffing, including performance evaluations, interviews, and orientation for new nurses.
Qualifications
  • Must hold a degree from an accredited nursing school, college, or university and possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the State Board of Nursing.
  • A minimum of three years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required, with at least two years in a nursing supervisory role within a long-term care environment.
  • Knowledge of the MDS process, state nurse practice acts, and both state and federal regulations is essential.
  • Availability for on-call duties is required.

Salary Information

Posted Salary Range: USD $115,000.00 - USD $118,000.00 / Year. Bonus: USD $5,000.00
