Vascular Surgery Locums in Ohio

Our organization is currently seeking a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage at a facility located in Ohio.

Assignment Overview

• Part-time coverage
• Coverage options include:
  • One week per month: From Monday 7:00 AM to the following Monday 7:00 AM, or
  • Two weekends per month: From Friday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM
• The locum physician will not be responsible for managing scheduled clinic patients.
• Coverage responsibilities include:
  • Inpatient consultations
  • Consultations in the Emergency Department
  • 24-hour on-call coverage
• Support Staff: A dedicated operating room team is available.
• Facility is a Level III trauma center.

Call Responsibilities

• Inpatient Call: Yes
• Rounding Required: Yes
• Call Volume: Minimal; providers are rarely called in, with most issues addressed via phone consultations.

Procedures

• No elective procedures will be scheduled for the locum provider.
• The physician will handle and perform urgent and emergent vascular procedures that arise during call coverage.

Qualifications

• Active Medical License in Ohio
• Board Certification in Vascular Surgery
• Capability to perform all procedures specified in the facility's vascular privileges/delineation
• Local or regional providers are highly preferred.
• Case Logs: Must include the most recent two years.
