Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Special Education Teacher in the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, in-person opportunity is located in a supportive educational setting near Bristol, CT, and spans August through June. You’ll work as part of a talented team dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment and ensuring every learner’s success.

Openings are available for three resource teaching positions across Kindergarten, Grades 1–2, and Grade 7. Each role comes with a manageable K–7th grade caseload and the chance to develop customized learning strategies that help students achieve their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility for certification)
  • Experience or interest in elementary and/or middle school resource settings
  • Expertise in IEP development and case management
  • Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt instruction to address diverse learning needs
  • Commitment to fostering inclusion and student growth

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Serve as a case manager, maintaining accurate records and monitoring educational plans
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and families
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and team discussions
  • Implement evidence-based strategies and accommodations
  • Support students in both academic and social-emotional development

Position Details:

  • Contract role: August 2026 through June 2027
  • Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday (35–37.5 hours per week)
  • Multiple grade-level assignments to fit your experience and strengths
