Job Description

This opportunity offers a collaborative environment at a single site, working alongside a dedicated OT, an experienced COTA, and a supportive campus team. As the occupational therapist, you’ll serve a diverse group of 15 students in grades 2 through 12+, each with unique needs ranging from mild to more intensive support. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver occupational therapy services aligned with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, while ensuring accurate and timely documentation. You'll have dedicated time for both preparation (8am-9am) and documentation (2pm-3pm) during your workday. Campus staff are readily available for collaboration, guidance, and support, making this an ideal setting to grow and share best practices.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid licensure and credentials as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience in a school setting (preferred)
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Ability to address a range of student abilities, from mild to moderate/severe needs
- Effective communicator and collaborative team member
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person occupational therapy services on site
- Implement interventions tailored to each student’s IEP goals
- Document all services provided in a timely and thorough manner
- Collaborate with campus staff, including the fellow OT and COTA, as well as teachers and administration
