Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Deliver essential care to patients as a skilled Respiratory Therapist on a contract basis. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional who is passionate about respiratory health and committed to providing high-quality support in a healthcare environment. You will work closely with medical teams, assisting patients in improving and maintaining proper respiratory function.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Proven experience working as a Respiratory Therapist in a clinical or hospital setting
  • In-depth knowledge of ventilator management, respiratory equipment, and related therapies
  • Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and create individualized care plans
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and patient education
  • Active state license required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians
  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot advanced medical devices and ventilators
  • Assess patient status, conduct diagnostic tests, and monitor progress
  • Advise patients and families on treatment plans and ongoing care needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes
  • Accurately document all patient encounters and maintain medical records according to facility standards
