Bring your passion for education to a dynamic environment, supporting students and shaping futures as a Special Education Teacher in a school near Philadelphia. This onsite, full-time opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, with contract roles at both middle and high school levels. We are seeking educators with concentrations in Science, Math, and Social Studies, who demonstrate expertise in their subject area and excel in classroom management.

With four openings, you’ll make a meaningful impact each day, working a consistent schedule in a collaborative school setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active state certification or licensure required for special education caseloads
  • Bachelor’s degree required to receive an emergency teaching permit
  • Previous experience in a school setting is essential
  • Strong classroom and behavioral management skills
  • Able to develop lesson plans aligned with current state and district standards, using assessment and differentiation to guide instruction
  • Mastery of subject area (Science, Math, or Social Studies for high school; general Special Education for middle school)
  • Must be able to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
  • Comfortable working in an urban district; familiarity with similar environments preferred
  • Reliable transportation is required
  • Flexible to work a set schedule; hours cannot be adjusted for individual accommodations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, adapt, and deliver instruction based on student needs
  • Support diverse learners through differentiated teaching strategies
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom culture
  • Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student learning and growth

School hours vary by position:

  • Middle School: 8:30AM–4PM or 8AM–3:15PM (TBD)
  • High School: 7:15AM–2:45PM
