Material Handler Location: Irvine, CA Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 1st Shift Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Biopharma Material Handler to support manufacturing operations by ensuring production teams have the materials and supplies needed to manufacture biopharmaceutical products. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, staging materials for production, and supporting GMP manufacturing activities in both warehouse and laboratory environments. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting. Responsibilities Stage, prepare, and deliver raw materials, components, and production supplies to manufacturing areas. Ensure production teams have the required materials available prior to scheduled manufacturing activities. Perform inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Receive, organize, label, and stock incoming materials. Maintain accurate inventory transactions within the inventory management system. Assist with material replenishment and inventory reconciliation. Support production by moving materials between warehouse, staging, and laboratory/manufacturing areas. Follow GMP, SOP, and safety procedures while handling materials. Maintain clean and organized storage, staging, and production support areas. Assist with material inspections, expiration date checks, and proper material rotation (FIFO/FEFO). Document material movements and inventory activities accurately. Work closely with Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Quality teams to ensure uninterrupted production. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus. 1–3 years of experience in material handling, inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing support, preferably within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, or GMP industry. Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment is preferred. Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods. Comfortable working in warehouse, cleanroom, and laboratory/manufacturing environments.
