This full-time contract opportunity places you at the heart of a vibrant school community, supporting high school students (grades 9-12) with a cross-categorical caseload of 16-20. Start your journey in mid-August and guide students through the academic year until early June. As you champion exceptional learners, you’ll also have the support of two dedicated educational assistants, ensuring a collaborative and effective learning environment.

Desired Qualifications:
- Active and current Wisconsin Special Education Teacher certification/license
- Experience with, or strong interest in, cross-categorical case management in grades 9-12
- Ability to design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Skilled in collaborating with families, educators, and support staff
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Dedication to an inclusive, respectful, and motivating classroom culture
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 16-20 high school students across ability levels
- Develop and maintain IEPs, ensuring compliance and student-centered planning
- Provide differentiated instruction and behavioral support as needed
- Coordinate with two assigned educational assistants for classroom and student support
- Engage actively with students, parents, and school staff to promote student achievement
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative department culture
