School Occupational Therapist - Verdi, Nevada

Embark on an impactful school-based occupational therapy assignment near Verdi, NV, where your expertise will support students from kindergarten through high school across multiple campuses. As a key partner within an educational team, you’ll provide essential therapy services for a diverse caseload, making a lasting difference for students who need it most.

What we're looking for:

• Active Nevada Occupational Therapy License
• Experience providing OT services in school settings, including conducting evaluations, administering therapy, and developing treatment plans for K-12 students
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50-55 students, flexibly rotating between 3-4 campuses as assigned
• Strong collaboration skills for working alongside teachers, administrators, and support staff
• Comfort with time-sensitive credentialing processes, including fingerprinting and drug screening

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct therapy to students with varying needs across different age groups (K-12)
• Performing assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and documenting outcomes
• Coordinating with school staff and families to foster the best possible support for each student’s educational journey
• Balancing a diverse caseload and adapting strategies across multiple school environments
• Remaining up-to-date with documentation and compliance requirements throughout the duration of your assignment

This is a contract position scheduled for the 2026-2027 academic year, starting August 10th and concluding June 4th, with a steady workweek of 37.5 hours and responsibilities spanning several local campuses.
