Location: Lewisville, TX

Pay: $17.50 / hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM CT
*** Occasional Schedule Adjustment: Every 4-6 weeks, employees will work one week of 10:00 AM-6:00 PM CT

In this role, you will contribute to the production and processing of medical devices that help support patient care by improving bone healing, stabilization, and orthopedic treatment outcomes.



Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Device Assembly Technician to support the manufacturing and returns departments. This role is responsible for performing mechanical assembly, cleaning, processing, and inventory functions while following detailed work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and quality documentation requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical and electrical assembly, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Process and assemble trays and piece parts according to Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing specifications.
  • Perform mechanical assembly, cleaning, and inventory activities while following established procedures and work instructions.
  • Create and apply accurate product labels while ensuring compliance with all requirements.
  • Complete printed work order routers, electronic routers (E-Routers), and manufacturing documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Inspect components for accuracy, cosmetic defects, and potential damage.
  • Report issues to management and collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Cross-train on various manufacturing and returns department functions to support business needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and team members to meet production goals.



Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of mechanical or electrical assembly experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience working in a Windows-based environment.
  • Ability to learn and navigate manufacturing systems; Oracle or Agile experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict manufacturing procedures.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.
