Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with K-4th grade students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with general educators and families.
- Ability to develop, implement, and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction tailored to students’ unique needs and abilities within the elementary (K-4) caseload.
- Assess student progress and adjust lessons to promote academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and administrators to design integrated support strategies.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss progress and strategies for continued success.
- Maintain accurate records and complete all necessary documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Participate in professional development and school meetings during the assignment.
