Compensation:
Salary Range: $28.30 - $45.28 per hour

Job Summary:
This role involves delivering direct nursing care in line with the established policies, procedures, and protocols of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee patient care plans, documenting and communicating patient conditions as necessary.
- Act as the primary coordinator among various disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Evaluate and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
- May participate in rounds with physicians in an inpatient environment.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and scientific knowledge in nursing to meet the age-specific and clinical needs of patients as outlined in the department’s Scope of Service.
- As a nurse in our organization, uphold the professional nursing standards as defined in our practice model, guided by the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.
- Maintain a constant state of alertness and operate safely.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school or equivalent educational background for licensing.
Experience:
- No prior experience is necessary.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly use speech for effective oral communication.
- Consistently stand and walk.
- Frequently lift, carry, and push/pull objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Engage in frequent sitting, reaching, and data entry.
- Utilize vision for near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) distances, including color differentiation.
- Employ smell to identify and recognize odors.
- Use hearing to receive verbal communication and detect alarms or machinery issues.
- Occasionally lift and move objects weighing between 25-50 lbs.
- Occasionally assist in lifting/moving patients.
- Occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, grip, and perform repetitive movements with legs and arms.
- Occasionally drive.
- Rarely crawl or run.
Required Licenses and Certifications:

- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
