Position: Travel ICU Charge Nurse
Location: Lewiston, Maine
Department: Intensive Care Unit
Available Shifts: Day and Night
Compensation: Up to $1,491 – $2,067 gross pay weekly; equivalent to $41.44 – $57.43 per hour.
Assignment Duration: 12 weeks

- Supervise ICU operations and nursing personnel during assigned shifts.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments effectively.
- Guide, mentor, and support the development of nursing staff.
- Assist with performance management and human resources activities.
- Monitor supplies, equipment, and overall unit readiness.
- Coordinate patient care, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Address patient care concerns and escalate issues through the proper channels.
- Engage with patients and families to enhance their experience.
- Provide direct patient care as necessary to ensure safe staffing and quality outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and high-quality patient care.
Education, Experience, and Training Requirements:
- Valid and current state RN License.
- Current BLS certification (AHA) upon hire and maintain throughout employment.
- Current ACLS certification (AHA) upon hire and maintain throughout employment.
- At least one year of experience as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital or emergency department setting is required.
- One to two years of previous supervisory experience in an acute care hospital or ICU setting is required.
