Job Overview and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional, patient-focused care that aligns with departmental requirements and the standards of practice for your specialty and state. Working closely with healthcare providers and the care team, you will deliver personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing frameworks such as ‘Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.’ Additionally, you will serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure a remarkable patient experience and positive clinical results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the patient's condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.
  • Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care in the patient's medical record.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient's therapeutic response, and take appropriate actions in case of any adverse reactions.
  • Deliver outstanding care by responding swiftly to patient requests, proactively anticipating their needs, and addressing them effectively.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up actions, ensuring clarity by simplifying complex medical terminology.
Qualifications Required:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within one year of starting employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be acquired within 30 days of employment commencement.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing.
