\nThe basics
\nSalary: £37,729.31 per year
\nContract: Permanent
\nLocation: Amplius south region (Milton Keynes and surrounding areas)
\nWork hours: Monday to Friday (4 days 08.30am - 5pm & 1 day 10am - 6pm)
\nWhat youll get

\nPaid participation in an out-of-hours standby rota (where applicable)
\nWhat youll be doing
\nCarrying out a wide range of plumbing repairs including leaks, blockages, taps, valves, sanitary fittings and pipework
\nDiagnosing faults accurately and completing repairs on a first-time fix basis wherever possible
\nEnsuring all work meets health & safety requirements, water regulations and internal standards
\nWorking in customers homes, communal areas and empty properties to deliver a responsive service
\nRecording job details, materials used and outcomes using mobile technology
\nWorking collaboratively with other trades to complete multi-skilled repairs where needed
\nManaging tools, equipment and stock responsibly
\nIdentifying and reporting safeguarding, compliance or property concerns
\nTaking part in a 24-hour standby rota service when required
\nWhat youll need
\nNVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)
\nExperience in domestic plumbing repairs in occupied and/or empty homes
\nGood understanding of water systems and how to diagnose faults
\nAbility to find and fix issues first time where possible
\nKnowledge of water regulations and safe working practices
\nGood communication and customer service skills in peoples homes
\nAble to work on your own and manage your workload
\nComfortable using a mobile device to record job details
\nFull UK driving license and willingness to travel
\nAble to pass a DBS check and eligible to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
