Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting surveys for extra low voltage cable routes and metal cable containment. Providing accurate measurements to support various projects within the retail sector. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise technical skills in a dynamic environment, contributing to the successful completion of infrastructure and development initiatives.
\nDuties

- Conduct land, topographical, and construction surveys using specialised equipment such as total stations, GPS devices, and levels. \n
- Analyse survey data to produce detailed maps, plans, and reports that meet project specifications. \n
- Ensure all survey activities comply with relevant legal standards and safety regulations. \n
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret survey requirements and deliver accurate results. \n
- Maintain calibration and proper functioning of surveying instruments through regular checks and servicing. \n
- Record survey data meticulously and prepare documentation for project records and client review. \n
- Assist in the planning of survey routes and methodologies based on project needs. \n
- Provide technical advice regarding land boundaries, property lines, and construction layouts. \n
Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Surveyor or in a similar role within the construction or civil engineering sectors. \n
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex spatial data accurately. \n
- Proficiency in using surveying software programmes such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools is desirable. \n
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and documentation. \n
- Valid UK driving licence is preferred for mobility between sites. \n
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or related fields are advantageous. \n
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions. \n
