Quantity SurveyorLocation: London / Norway - frequent travel requiredRotation: 10 days on, 4 days offJoin one of Europe's Leading Engineering Consultancies on a Hyperscale Data Centre!We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an exciting project in Norway. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven construction professional looking to work on international projects within a dynamic and challenging environment.As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing project costs, commercial performance, procurement activities, and contract administration. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered successfully while maintaining strong commercial control.Responsibilities of a Quantity Surveyor - Manage project cost control, forecasting, and commercial reportingPrepare and review valuations, variations, and payment applicationsMonitor project budgets and identify commercial risks and opportunitiesSupport procurement processes and subcontractor managementReview contracts, scope changes, and commercial agreementsPrepare accurate cost reports and financial updatesWork closely with site teams to ensure effective cost tracking and reportingAssist with final accounts and project close-out activitiesMaintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractorsRequirementsof a Quantity Surveyor Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, engineering, or industrial projectsStrong understanding of cost control, contracts, and commercial managementExperience working on large-scale projects is highly desirableAbility to work independently within a site-based environmentStrong analytical, organisational, and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant QS softwareWillingness to work on a rotational basis in NorwayFluent English required; additional European languages are advantageousIf you are an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next international opportunity, we would like to hear from you.Apply today to be considered for this exciting Norway-based project.TPBN1_UKTJ
