Our client, a leading and highly regarded South West Accountancy Practice, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will manage your own client portfolio, provide high-quality accounting and advisory services, and play a key role in mentoring colleagues and supporting the continued growth of a specialist client division.

The responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering accounting and advisory services
\n
• Prepare and review statutory accounts and tax compliance work
\n
• Provide commercial advice and financial guidance to clients
\n
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
\n
• Support the development and mentoring of junior team members
\n
• Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and win new business
\n
• Work closely with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives
\n
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice
\n

The candidate:

\n
• ACA or ACCA qualified with accountancy practice experience
\n
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts, tax, and client advisory services
\n
• Previous experience managing a client portfolio independently
\n
• Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
\n
• Proactive, commercially minded, and passionate about developing your career
\n
