Our client is a specialist engineering company. Due growth they are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter.
\n
The Role
\n
\n - Will be working permanent day shift assembling and building their specialist products.
\n - Interpret engineering assembly drawings, check parts before commencement of assembly.
\n - Assemble and fit parts to form sub-assemblies.
\n - Installation and test of controls.
\n - To build assemblies to the stated assembly time and quality level.
\n
\n
The Person
\n
\n - Time Served Mechanical Fitter or have relevant experience.
\n - Experience of building special purpose machines.
\n - Experience in assembly.
\n - Ability to read assembly/technical documentation such as drawings and work instructions.
\n - Adhere to manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
