Job Description
We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to support customers across Bedford for an energy systems business with sites all over the world. This is a role suited to someone with mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience, as you will be maintaining, repairing and monitoring customer energy systems. What’s on offer? * £38,789 per year * Mon – Fri | 8am – 4pm * Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours * 1.5x on Saturdays * 2x after 4 hours * 2x on Sundays and bank holidays * Standby fee for callout rota * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and public holidays * Enhanced holiday entitlement based on length of service * 6% company pension scheme * £300 tool allowance * Private healthcare scheme * Life insurance * Employee Assistance Programme * Cycle to Work Scheme * Training and progression What will you be doing as a Field Service Engineer? * Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance * Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults * Completing reactive repairs efficiently and effectively * Monitoring customer systems and equipment performance * Identifying ways to improve reliability and productivity * Reducing equipment downtime and unnecessary material usage * Keeping accurate service and maintenance records * Providing a high standard of customer service * Taking part in a 24-hour callout rota What will you need? * ONC, NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, motor vehicle studies or a similar Interested?
