Accounts & Tax Senior

Exclusive to TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency. We are supporting a fantastic firm of accountants who are looking to recruit a Semi Senior Accountant into their growing and highly successful team based in Ashford, Kent on either a full time, or part time basis. You will be responsible for your own client portfolio of clients, providing them with a mixed service across accounts and tax work, working alongside the partners, with the opportunity to develop your advisory experience further.

Their clients are completely mixed, across a range of sectors and sizes from sole traders, partnerships and Ltd companies, from start up size, through to larger groups.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparation of annual accounts
\n
• Preparation of company CT600 returns
\n
• Partnership returns & individual self-assessment tax returns
\n
• Preparation and review of VAT returns
\n
• Preparation and review of bookkeeping work
\n
• Meetings with clients, alongside the partners
\n
• Overseeing the work of more junior team members and supporting them accordingly
\n

\n
• ACCA/ACA part qualified, or qualified by experience
\n
• Strong practice experience
\n
• Experience of CCH, Xero, Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous
\n
• Portfolio management experience or experience dealing with clients would also be advantageous.
\n

• £25,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
\n
• 25 days annual leave + 8 days for bank holidays
\n
