A well-established and growing accountancy practice is looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior to join its Bristol office. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to continue their professional studies while gaining exposure to a broad range of clients and accounting assignments within a supportive general practice environment.

Working closely with Managers and Senior team members, you will be involved in delivering a range of accounting services to a diverse client portfolio. This is a varied role offering exposure to statutory accounts, management accounts, tax compliance and business advisory work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
  • \n
  • Assisting with management accounts preparation.
  • \n
  • Preparing corporation tax computations and returns.
  • \n
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
  • \n
  • Assisting clients with bookkeeping and accounting queries.
  • \n
  • Supporting year-end accounts assignments.
  • \n
  • Liaising directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries.
  • \n
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • \n
  • Assisting senior colleagues with more complex accounting assignments.
  • \n
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
  • \n
