\nJob Description – Property Transfer Assistant (Sublets)
\nThe Property Transfer Assistant (Sublets) is responsible for the day-to-day management of sublet applications, acting as the key point of contact for solicitors, estate agents, homeowners, executors, and other stakeholders throughout the process.
\nThe role involves obtaining and reviewing the required documentation, raising and processing the appropriate administration fees, encouraging timely payment of outstanding fees, and resolving a wide range of customer and legal queries. It also requires a strong understanding of the company's customer management systems to accurately set up occupiers and maintain accurate records.
\nSuccess in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with customers, often explaining complex processes in an accessible way. Excellent written communication skills are essential for producing clear, professional email correspondence, alongside confident and effective verbal communication when handling telephone enquiries.
\n\nThe role demands strong problem-solving abilities, resilience, and the capacity to manage a consistently high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy and delivering excellent customer service.
\nWhilst previous legal knowledge is not essential, the successful candidate must be able to learn new information quickly, adapt to changing processes and legislation, and confidently apply new knowledge to a variety of situations. The ability to work flexibly, respond to changing priorities, and manage a broad range of enquiries in a fast-paced environment is essential.
