\nWe're recruiting on behalf of a local charity dedicated to reducing poverty and creating a future where everyone has reliable access to the support they need. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and organised Administrator/PA to provide vital support to the CEO and senior leadership team.
\nAs the Administrator/PA to the CEO, you'll play a key role in keeping the charity running smoothly by providing high-quality administrative and operational support across the organisation.
\nThis is an temporary position for 4-6 months (possible extension), working 20 hours per week across 4-5 days with some flexibility around working times. Offices are based on the outskirts of the city with parking available.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Providing administrative and PA support to the CEO and senior staff \n
- Liaising with Trustees and external organisations on behalf of the CEO \n
- Managing HR administration, including DBS checks, IT equipment records, security administration and Health & Safety systems \n
- Coordinating communication across the charity's core team \n
- Maintaining an organised, safe and compliant office environment \n
- Keeping accurate records of key organisational documents, including leases, insurance, compliance documentation and renewal dates \n
- Handling incoming post, telephone calls and email enquiries, ensuring they are directed appropriately \n
- Arranging travel and conference bookings \n
- Supporting volunteers with administrative tasks \n
- Assisting with customer service enquiries alongside the Customer Service Coordinator \n
- Maintaining clear and accurate records to support continuity of work \n
- Providing additional administrative support as required to meet the needs of the charity \n
Skills, Experience & Attributes
\n- \n
- Experienced in an administrative and/or Personal Assistant role \n
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail \n
- Confident using Microsoft 365 and other IT systems \n
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills \n
- Friendly, approachable and trustworthy \n
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently \n
- Passionate about supporting a charity that makes a genuine difference in the local community \n
