Yolk Recruitment is exclusively managing a new CNC Turner opportunity with this long-standing engineering business, a key supplier to a global AAA client base with a strong long-term order book and significant growth plans ahead.

This is a Programmer/Setter role, working with a range of machinery on site, primarily with fanuc controls The ideal candidate will be able to programme at the machine from drawings, and use CAM software, though existing skills can be developed.

This is what you'll be doing:

• Programme, set and operate CNC lathes to manufacture high-precision components in line with engineering drawings and required tolerances.
\n
• Inspect components to ensure they meet drawing tolerances, to the quality required
\n
• Support the wider production team, maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety, and providing guidance to colleagues where required.
\n

The experience you'll need in this role:

\n
• Previous experience working in a similar CNC Turning or precision machining role, ideally with 3-5 years' experience.
\n
• Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and dimensional tolerances, with strong attention to detail.
\n
