Finance Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Play a pivotal role in the month end reporting process by ensuring all financial reconciliations, cost calculations, order backlog reviews, inventory checks, and project balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
  • \n
  • Track project spend meticulously by monitoring costs committed, incurred, and forecasted for both operational expenditure (OPEX) and capital expenditure (CAPEX), ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • \n
  • Prepare detailed project models that provide robust forecasts updated with monthly actuals to support informed decision-making across the business.
  • \n
  • Report on risks and opportunities by identifying key line items, valuing them accurately, and ensuring mitigation actions are implemented effectively.
  • \n
  • Monitor project revenue progress closely to ensure contract milestones are achieved promptly and invoicing is completed in a timely manner.
  • \n
  • Support the business with cash collection activities and contribute to reducing overdue invoices through proactive engagement with stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Gain essential business knowledge to backfill team members during the transition of operations between sites, ensuring continuity of service.
  • \n
  • Assist with both external and internal audit requirements by maintaining compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and group accounting policies.
  • \n
  • Ensure adherence to statutory accounting standards including UK GAAP and US GAAP while upholding data protection legislation in all handling and storage of sensitive information.
  • \n
  • Consistently follow Health, Safety & Environmental instructions to maintain a safe workplace for yourself and colleagues.
  • \n

  • Qualified by experience or part qualified/finalist/qualified CIMA status demonstrates your solid foundation in finance principles relevant to this role.
