Job Description

My client is seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join their busy Property team in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern and growing law firm, managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload while benefiting from flexible hybrid working and genuine career progression.

The Role

\n

You will be responsible for managing your own residential conveyancing caseload, including:

\n

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases

\n

• Transfers of equity

\n

• Remortgages

\n

• New build transactions

\n

• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors

\n

• Providing clear, practical legal advice throughout the transaction

\n

• Managing matters from instruction through to completion

\n

• Maintaining high standards of client care and regulatory compliance

\n

• Supporting the continued growth of the department through excellent client service

\n

Requirements

\n

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced Conveyancer

\n

• Previous experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently

\n

• Strong knowledge of both freehold and leasehold transactions

\n

• Excellent client care and communication skills

\n

• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple matters

\n

• Proactive and commercially minded approach

\n

• Experience using case management systems would be advantageous

\n
