\nWe're recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller/Accounts Receivable professional to join the finance team of a well-established global manufacturing business. This is a role where you'll take ownership of customer accounts, ensuring invoices are paid on time, resolving queries quickly and playing a key part in maintaining a healthy cash flow.

\n\nWhat you'll be doing
\n• Taking ownership of customer accounts, ensuring invoices are raised accurately and on time.
\n• Recording and allocating incoming customer payments.
\n• Monitoring outstanding balances and proactively chasing overdue accounts.
\n• Investigating and resolving invoice queries and payment discrepancies.
\n• Building strong working relationships with customers and internal departments to remove barriers to payment.
\n• Maintaining accurate customer account information and financial records.
\n• Producing regular accounts receivable reports for management.
\n• Supporting month-end and year-end finance activities.
\n• Forecasting a weekly position for cash collection for the Head of Finance.
\n• Working closely with Sales, Operations and Finance teams to resolve billing issues efficiently.
\nTo be a success you'll need
\n• Previous experience as a Credit Control.
\n• A good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
\n• Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting software (SAP would be advantageous).
\n• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
\n• Confidence communicating with customers and colleagues at all levels.
\n• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage your workload and take ownership of your ledger.
