We're looking for someone who loves building relationships as much as they love getting the numbers right.Location: Worksop (office based) | Hours: 37.5 hrs/week, 5 days | Contract: Full-time, permanent | Reports to: Practice Owner | Salary: £45,000What You'll Be DoingManaging and developing your own varied portfolio of clients across the industrial, transport and farming sectorsPreparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax computations and returnsGiving clients clear, timely advice on personal and corporate tax mattersPreparing statutory and management accounts to a high standardBuilding strong, lasting client relationships through regular contact and meetingsGetting hands-on with TaxCalc, Kashflow, QuickBooks, Xero, Dext, Word and ExcelLiaising with HMRC and other bodies on behalf of clientsStaying sharp on the latest tax legislation, accounting standards and best practiceWorking as part of a team no formal line management requiredWhat We're Looking ForA qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CTA or equivalent) with solid practice experienceConfident managing your own client portfolio from start to finishStrong technical knowledge of UK personal and corporate taxA natural relationship-builder who enjoys client contactComfortable working across modern accounting softwareA team player who's happy to share knowledge and support colleaguesWhat's In It For YouCompetitive salary, reflective of your experienceEmployer pension schemeStudy support available for finalistsA supportive, close-knit practice where your contribution is genuinely valuedReal autonomy over your own client portfolioEquals One is an advertising and recruitment agency working on behalf of our client to promote this vacancy.
