The Role

As an Accounts Senior, you'll manage your own portfolio of clients while providing a high standard of accounting and tax services. Working closely with managers and partners, you'll play a key role in supporting clients and helping junior team members develop.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
\n
• Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns.
\n
• Managing your own portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients.
\n
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing practical advice and responding to day-to-day queries.
\n
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service.
\n
• Liaising with HMRC and other third parties where required.
\n
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members when appropriate.
\n
• Working collaboratively across the practice to deliver an excellent client experience.
\n
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value to clients.
\n

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
\n
• Experience preparing accounts for SMEs, sole traders and partnerships.
\n
• Experience preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns.
\n
• The ability to manage a portfolio of clients independently.
\n
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
\n
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
\n
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
\n
• A proactive, positive and team-focused approach.
\n
• A desire to continue learning and developing professionally.
\n
