\n\nThis role is part of an award-winning HR team, in a progressive housing provider, who are dedicated to creating thriving, secure communities.
\n\nThey are seeking a proactive, insightful Employee Relations Specialist, who will act as trusted advisor and coach to managers across the organisation.
\n\nWhat you'll be doing:
\n- \n
- Managing an ER caseload covering: performance, conduct, attendance, grievance, flexible working requests (approx 15 cases at any one time) \n
- Providing practical, legally sound advice to managers, to reduce organisational risk and support fair outcomes. \n
- Ownership of all things absence and attendance, including monitoring trigger points and reporting, long term absence cases, etc. \n
- Coaching managers and running training sessions, so they can handle people matters early, constructively, and with confidence. \n
- Analysing ER case trends to identify risks and implement preventative solutions. \n
This is a hybrid role dividing your time 50/50 between your local office and working from home - if you found this advert, your nearest office is likely to be Peterborough outskirts

What you need:
\n- \n
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent hands-on experience. \n
- Strong track record managing complex ER casework in a complex multi-site environment. \n
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application, and experience preparing cases for tribunal \n
- Excellent written communication and coaching skills, with the ability to challenge constructively. \n
- Experience within housing, care, or a regulated sector is advantageous but not essential. \n
